Mrs. Barnhill Dies Last Night
Mrs. Reba Barnhill of Blue River Park Addition, 71, died last night at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital after a several years illness.
Mrs. Barnhill, born January 3, 1895, the daughter of John and Catherine Coy Day, was married to Harlan Barnhill July 21, 1915.
Mr. Barnhill survives with five children, Laura Catherine Barnhill, Mildred Eloise Barnhill, Edinburg, Harld Barnhill, Columbus, Mrs. Reba Rowley and Lloyd Barnhill of Edinburg. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a niece, Peggy Day Albertson of Florida.
The deceased was a member of the Edinburg Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the Mutz Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Sexton officiating. Friends may call after 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Reba Barnhill Dies in Hospital
EDINBURG — Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Barnhill, 116 Blue River Park, have been planned for 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in the Mutz Funeral Home.
The services will be in charge of the Rev. Robert Sexton, pastor of the Edinburg Christian Church, and burial will take place in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home at any time after 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon and until time for the services. They are invited to attend the rites.
Died Friday
Mrs. Barnhill had been in declining health for several years and died in the Johnson County Memorial Hospital at 8:45 o'clock Friday night.
She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Coy Day and was born on Jan. 3, 1895.
Most of Mrs. Barnhill’s life had been spent in Edinburg and she was a member of the Edinburg Christian Church.
She became the bride of Harlan Barnhill on July 21, 1915, and five children were born to them.
The husband survives with three daughters and two sons, Miss Lena Catherine Barnhill, Miss Mildred Eloise Barnhill, Mrs. Reba Rowley, Lloyd Barnhill, of Edinburg; and Harold Barnhill of Columbus.
Others who remain are eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a niece, Mrs. Peggy Day Albertson, of Florida.
