Lillian J. Barnett

Lillian J. Barnett, 67 years of age, died Sunday, September 12, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She resided at 334 Morris St. in Edinburgh. Lillian was born May 8, 1926, in Whitesville, Kentucky. Her parents are Hilary L. Jarboe and Mary Manie Bartley. She was married to Harry Barnett.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Elizabeth Jean Tungett, of Columbus; 3 sons, Paul Stiltner and Joseph Chandler, both of Edinburgh, and Carl Chandler of Columbus; 2 step sons, Dale Barnett of Edinburgh, and Tony Barnett of Columbus; 4 brothers; 23 grandchildren; and 6 great-grand­children. She was preceded in death by parents, 1 brother, Joseph Jarboe, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Lillian is a former employee for Amos Plastics in Edinburgh and was a member of the Holy Trinity Church.

Calling hours were held Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home from 4–9 p.m. A Rosary Service was also held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held today at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial service will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Minister officiating is Father Paul Shikany.
