Ella Banta was buried in the M. E. cemetery on last Saturday evening. Her death was caused by typhoid fever. Those who were present at the Clark township commencement last spring, will remember that Ella, represented District No. 4, in the declamation contest. Mr. Banta came from Kentucky, some two years ago and located in the northern part of township. For some time he has been in poor health. Now he has been compelled to bury his last and only child, a beautiful young girl, just budding into womanhood.
