Mrs. Nettie Applegate, widow of the late Fred Applegate, died at Columbus Saturday evening at 8:30 o’clock, aged twenty-nine years. Mrs. Applegate was employed by the Reeves Company at Columbus as stenographer and was a highly respected lady. The remains were brought to Edinburg Sunday forenoon on the 10:35 train and taken to the home of her parents, Edward Graves and wife, near Nineveh. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at one o’clock, conducted by Rev. John C. Miller. The remains were interred in Greenlawn cemetery.
