FRANKLIN — Harlen Gene Anderson, 72, of Franklin died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1994, at Franklin Nursing Home.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a truck driver for R. O. Barber for 12 years, retiring in 1977. He also was a member of Nineveh Christian Church and Moose Lodge No. 398 of Columbus.
Funeral will be private. There will be no calling. Inurnment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born Aug. 11, 1922, in Brown County, he was the son of Sylvan and Gertrude Swift Anderson. He married Rella E. Crouch Sept. 11, 1952, in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death April 14, 1992.
Survivors include sisters, Mildred McFarlin of Franklin, Margaret Schrougham of Greenwood and Marjorie Essex of Columbus; a brother, Clyde E. Anderson of Franklin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
