Glendon K. Anderson

Glendon Katherine “Mom” Anderson, 68, died Monday at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a lifetime resident of Edinburgh.

She was born April 1, 1925, in Nin­eveh. Her parents were Oren Drybread and Louise Drybread. She married Cecil Anderson in 1946. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Donna K. Shehan of Edinburgh; a son, James “Andy” Anderson of Morgantown; five grand­children; and three great-grand­children. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Drybread, Fred Drybread and William Drybread.

She was manager of the NCO Club at Camp Atterbury for several years. She also managed a concession stand at Camp Atterbury for many years.

She was a member of Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary.

The Rev. Randy Brown will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Long Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

EDINBURGH — Funeral for Glendon K. “Mom” Anderson, 68, of Edinburgh will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Long Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Brown officiat­ing. Calling will be from 4 to 9 today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Ceme­tery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.

Mrs. Anderson died Monday evening Nov. 29, 1993, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

She was a member of Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary, was for­mer manager of the Non-Commis­sioned Officers Club at Camp At­terbury and also operated a concess­ion stand at Atterbury for several years with her husband.

Born April 1, 1925, at Nineveh, she was the daughter of Oren and Louise Drybread. She married Cecil Anderson in 1946. He survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Donna Shehan of Edin­burgh; a son, James R. “Andy” Anderson of Morgantown; five grand­chil­dren; and three great-grand­children.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Fred, and William Drybread.
