Floyd B. Anderson
Floyd B. Anderson, 81, Hartsville, died Monday at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was the father of Jean Phelps of Franklin.
He was born April 23, 1905, in Bartholomew County, to John K. and Maud (Yoder) Anderson. He married Irene (Thompson) Anderson in 1927. She died Dec. 10, 1985.
He was a retired farmer from the Hartsville area.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with the Rev. Connelly Graham officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus.
Survivors also include one son, Marvin Anderson, Burnsville; three brothers, John Lawrence Anderson, Flat Rock, and Burl Anderson and Cecil Anderson, both of Columbus; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Anderson, Elmer Anderson and James Anderson.
