Albert Allison, oldest son of H. C. Allison of Edinburg, died Monday night at the home of his father. He was thirty-four years old and was born in Franklin. Funeral services were held Wednesday from the residence conducted by Rev. R. E. Hawley. The remains were brought to Franklin for burial in Greenlawn.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, page 9, records that James Albert Allison died of tubercular enteritis, on 15 Jan 1900 in Edinburgh, Blue River Township, Johnson County, Indiana, age 33 years, 11 months and 10 days. He was white, male, single and a druggist. His father’s name was Harvey C. Allison (born in Franklin, Indiana) and his mother’s name Jennie Graham (born in Clark County, Indiana). He was buried in Franklin on 17 Jan 1900, undertaker J. M. Breeding.
