Arm Alexander, one of the oldest and best known citizens of Johnson County died Wednesday noon at his home in Trafalgar after a long illness. For many years he was a prominent business man in Franklin and engaged extensively in the pork packing business. When the panic of 1873 came on, he with others lost nearly all his large property interests. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at First Mt. Pleasant church.
