Everett Adams dies Friday

   Everett E. Adams, 83, In-
dianapolis, died Friday at
Colonial Crest Nursing Home,
Indianapolis.
   Born in Carroll county, Ky.,
on May 26, 1895, he was the son
of Henry G. and Mary Ellen
(Batts) Adams. He was married
to Florence Esther (Pyles)
Adams, who survives.
   A self-employed carpenter,
he was a member of Calvary
Apostolic Church. He was a
World War I Army veteran.
   Funeral services were con-
ducted Monday at Wilson_St. Pierre
Greenwood Chapel by Rev. Stephen
Schmidt. Burial followed in
Greenwood Cemetery.
   In addition to the wife, sur-
vivors include daughters, Jane
Salinas, Greenwood, Esther
Ault, Needham, Marie Higgs
and Josephine Heldman, both of
Indianapolis, and Sarah Gray,
Homestead, Fla.; a sister,
Daisy Pellgrino, Kentucky; 12
grandchildren, and 11 great-
grandchildren.
