Funeral of Carl Abbett.
The funeral services of the late Carl Abbett, who died from tuberculosis, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Amity Baptist church, Rev. O. A. Cook conducting the services. Burial was made at the Kennedy Cemetery.
Mr. Abbett was an excellent young man in every way and his friends were many, drawn by his agreeable and pleasant characteristics. He learned the barber profession and for a time worked in this city. By his industry he had purchased a shop at Indianapolis and worked at his trade as long as his health would permit. His early death is one generally regretted.
