Delton Lange
Funeral services for Delton C. Lange, 76, Lawrenceburg, will be at 11 a.m. (DST, fast time), Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Greendale, with burial in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lange died Saturday, June 6, in Lawrenceburg. He was a retired supervisor fro Seagram distillery, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where he served on council for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; three sons, Roger, Martinsville, Ind., David, Fairfield, Ohio, and Dan, Carmel, Ind.; one daughter, Cindy Miller, Fishers, Ind.; one brother, Dorman, Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the St. John Building Fund or the Lawrenceburg Rescue Unit.

Funeral services for Dorman Lee Lange, 78, Lawrenceburg, will be at the convenience of the family. Rullman-Hunger-Denney Funeral Home,Aurora, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lange died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in Dillsboro. He was a member of the Lawrenceburg Masonic Lodge, Dillsboro American Legion, Milan Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Aurora Eagles. He worked as a millwright and carpenter in construction for Union Local 1142. He served in the U.S.Army in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Lange, Lawrenceburg; two sons, Dorman "Booda" Lange, Lawrenceburg, and Jeffry Lange,Aurora; a daughter, Suzanne Skidmore, Rising Sun; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lawrenceburg Masonic Lodge.

John E. Brauer, mention of who was made in last week's issue of the Press, died at his home on east William street Saturday, aged ninety-six years, ten months and nineteen days. His life covered practically a century. He was born in Germany May 9, 1811. He had lived in this city for more than fifty years. He was born before the war with England in 1812. The battle of Tippecanoe had not yet been fought. During the span of his life more history had been accomplished for the benefit of mankind than had been done since the world commenced. Mr. Brauer leaves two children in this city, Frank Brauer and Mrs. Joseph Klein, the latter with whom he had lived for several years past. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, conducted by Rev. J. F. Sondermann. Burial in Greendale Cemetery.

John E. Brauer departed this life at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday at his late residence of this city and was buried from the St. Lawrence church at 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Father Sondermann assisted by Fathers Seter and Kreis officiating.
Deceased was born in Bavaria May 9, 1811, and came to Cincinnati about 1852. He resided there but a short time removing to Petersburg, Ky., and thence to this city in 1854 or 55.
He was twice married, both companions having preceded him to the grave. There survive him, of his immediate family, six children, John of Cincinnati, Mrs. Joseph Klein and Frank of this city, Mrs. Charles Stricker, Piqua, O., Mrs. Harry Herrick, Hamilton, Ohio, and Miss Rosa of Diamond, Ind. Deceased was for 70 years engaged in the cooperage business. He was always active even up to within a short time previous to his death although in his 98th year. He was seriously ill for only one week.
