victim of a felony of James Moore in 1860.

emancipated by a deed executed by Thomas Deyerlee on March 23, 1835 and it was
recorded on July 11, 1835. Caleb had a son named Thomas.

left hand which was enlarged at his second joint and stiff, a broken and stiff

on July 31, 1826. He was registered in Amherst County on May 15, 1832 as number
66 in the DU 1319. Robert was listed in the Montgomery Spring records in 1860
and the Christiansburg PO in 1867. He married Delcie Flagens.

Mars. In 1851 (COB 29/202) he was indentured to Adam Fisher. In the 1850 Census
he was found in the DU 115 and in 1867 he was listed in Peppers Ferry.

on her forehead, and had a burn scar on her right arm. She was born free in
Montgomery County to Hercules Mars, and on May 30, 1867 she was married to a
North Carolina Laborer named Jacob Armstrong, age 48, in Giles County. She was
found in the DU 115 in the 1850 Census and the DU 1363 for the 1860 Census in
Christiansburg.
