was born August 14, 1901
in Franklin Co. Va., She was the daughter of
James
& Sentha Etter Bennett. In 1917
Mrs. Lann moved from Virginia
to rural
Franklin County, Kansas and
in 1942 to
Ottawa
where she made her home, until
her death 4-5-1992 at the age
of ninety years.
Before moving into Ottawa,
Mrs. Lann lived
in Centropolis and Pomona
communities.
She
was a homemaker who especially
enjoyed gardening, caring for
flowers,
cooking, and sewing.
On
March 22nd 1916 Daisy was united
in marriage with Pete Lann in
Franklin
County,
Va. He preceeded her in death
Dec. 21, 1958
She was preceeded in death by
a son
Charles
William Lann in 1925, a sister
Bessie Ellis in 1985, and a
brother Frank Hatcher
Surviving are a daughter,
Lizzie Lee Lann of the
home in Ottawa; a brother
Ernest Hatcher of
Lawrence,
and a sister Lucy Kelley of
Fredrickstown, Missouri.

He was
born in Patrick County on August 24, 1914,
and was a son of the late
John
Andy and Rosa Lee Heath Martin.
He was also preceded in death
by his wife,
Jettie Lou Collins Martin; and two sons,
Donnie Wayne Martin and
Lonnie Martin.
Surviving are four daughters, Ruby Martin,
Shirley Ann Rominger, Dorothy
Purdy, and Susan Gattalaro; two sons,
Ronnie Ray and Jonnie Darell
Martin
and a sister Mary M. Wilson.
Funeral service were held Friday at
Burroughs Funeral Home
Chapel, The Revs.
Joe Shockley, Ralph Mitchell and Eugene
Payne officiated.Burial was
in the Martin
