Wilma Sue Dalton Rieley

Wilma Sue Dalton Rieley, 65, of Thaxton, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the home of her sister. She was born on Sunday, December 27, 1942 in Hillsville, a daughter of the late Raymond Dalton and Ethel Phillips Dalton. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Allen Rieley, III. She was a member of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren. Surviving is her husband, John Allen Rieley, Jr.; a brother, Kenneth Dalton, of Montvale; two sisters, Shirley D. Dooley, of Blue Ridge, Evelyn D. Morris, of Fincastle. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment followed in the McManaway Family Cemetery .
