Church of Christ Has Plans Ready for House Workship
The congregation of the Church of Christ has announced its plans for their new building, which will be erected on Twelfth street, near Osprey. This church was first established in this city last October and has grown from a handful of members until now it is of sufficient size to deem it wise to have a church of their own.
R.V. Traylor of the Bradenton Church of Christ held services last fall and spring on two Sundays of each month, but the congregation this fall has engaged the services of John Wolfe, recently graduated from the Christian College at Abilene, Texas. Mr. Wolfe will have charge of the church this year.
Temporarily services are being held in the tourist room on the city pier. It is understood that most of the money needed for the erection of the new edifice has been raised by the members of this faith.
