A wedding of much social interest was solemnized on Sunday at 4 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal Church when Miss Myra Gutteridge of this city and C. Benjamin Jones of Oveido, were united in holy matrimony.

The church was beautifully decorated in green and white. Palms and ferns and white oleanders being used. The windows were shaded with palm branches and the railing and altar decorated with lighted candles which lent a pretty glow to the ceremony.

A short musical program preceeded the ceremony. "I Love You Truly," sung by Miss Mabel Swope and "Dear Hear," by Mrs. West of Oveido. Then to the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding March, softly played by Miss Georgia Rattedsall of Oveido, the wedding party entered, with Clarence Gutteridge and Earl Robinson as ushers, followed by little Russell Gutteridge, bearing the ring in a beautiful white rose.

Miss Bertha Gutteridge, maid of honor and Miss Esther Angle, bridesmaids, each carrying bows and arrows tied with ribbon, the color scheme being the colors of the rainbow.

The groom and best man were then followed by the tiny flower girls, little Miss Connie and Chloe Brannon of Oveido. The bride was led to the altar on the arm of Mr. Ed Allen of Orlando, where they were met by the Rev. C.E. Gutteridge, father of the bride, who pronounced the beautiful ceremony which made them man and wife.

The bride's gown, hand embroidered French voile over white satin, with tulle veil bordered with lilies of the valley and wearing a wreath of orange blossoms worn by her mother on her wedding day, and carrying a beautiful bouquet of Bride's Roses.

The groom was dressed in convential black. Maid of honor in white voile and lace, bridesmaid in a blue organdy. Both wore large white tulle hats.

After the ceremony and informal reception was held at the home of Mrs. E. H. Cline, where the happy couple were showered with congratulations and later lovely refreshments of cake and cream were served.

The bride is the daughter of the paster of the M.E. Church and while she has only lived here a few months, she has made a host of friends by her charming personality and sweet ways. She will be greatly missed in social and church circles. She has been the honored guest at many showers and parties.

The groom is a prominent young business man of Oveido, and will take his bride, after a short honeymoon trip, to a home at that place.

The bride's gifts to her attendants were small gold circle pins and beauty pins for the flower girls.

Many beautiful and costly presents testifying to the love and esteem in which this couple were held.
