ATKINSON

I have/need information on a Shadrack ATKINSON who was in Marion County in 1850 with son John H. M. and family. Some of the land in Dunnellon is still in family. Do any Atkinson wills exist? Some of the family came from Thomas County and Pulaski County, GA.

ARNUU, WATERS

I am looking for the burial location for my great-great Uncle and Aunt, William Thomas WATERS born 10/26/1864 died 9/18/1939, and his wife Rosa Lee ARNUU Waters. He died in Mcintosh, Marion Co., Fla. According to William's death certificate he is buried in McIntosh. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

AYLOR, HARRISON

Thomas HARRISON born 1820 in Georgia lived in Marion Co. Florida with his wife Mary E. AYLOR who was born in Tennessee. They were married in Georgia. I have been told there is a Thomas Harrison that is in the 1860 Florida census index in Marion County. It think this is he. I would like a copy of this census record that lists their children and how old they were,. Plus the ages of both Thomas and his wife Mary E. (Aylor) Harrison at the time the census was taken. Thank you very much and I am willling to pay for any expenses.

Looking for information on children of John Andrew Albert BYRD, Violet BYRD wife of John W. LEE died Apr 1979 in either Pinellas or Hillsborough counties. Daisy Beatrice BYRD md Walter d. RICE died Mar 1965, most likely in Pinellas county Lillie Rosalie BYRD md Albert ROSS died Oct 1977 live in Marion county.

DURR, MILLS, STEPHENS

Looking for any information on Mary Anis DURR who lived in Marion Co. abt. 1850. She was married to Swepson B. Whitehead STEPHENS on 6/1/1853 in Marion Co. They had 3 children: Adolphus, b. abt. 1855; Henry Avley Stephens. b. 7/1856; and Swepson Stephens, b. abt 1858. I believe that Mary may have died or divorce Swepson between 1858-1860 because he remarried to Victoria MILLS on 10/7/1860. Any info anyone may have would be greatly appreciated. Will gladly share what I have.

I am looking for any information on the family of Roberson (or Robertson or Robert) CRUTCHFIELD, who married Mary Ann MORGAN and moved from Crawford Co. GA to Marion Co. FL about 1845. They had three daughters, Jefferson "Jeffie," Aurora, and Delia (died young) CRUTCHFIELD and one son Anson Ball "Uncle Pomp" CRUTCHFIELD. Jeffie married Joseph BELL, and Aurora married Charles Henry WHITE.

After Eleazar died in the Civil War in AL, Elizabeth came to Marion County with the children, who were William, Sarah Jane Ann, John C., Frank M. and Andrew Jackson. Looking for ancestors and descendants of Merkell HOLTON b. 1802 GA and his wife Martha b. 1800 NC. Children were Lewis b. 1829 in Dale County, AL, Elizabeth, Lexie (female), William, Mark, Uriah and Sarah. I know that the first three children in this family came to Marion County in the late 1800's. Lewis had mar. Katherine DOWNS and Elizabeth had mar. Eleazar I. SNELL in AL.
