Tampa, Fla., December 19. – Robert SOLAR, who spent seventeen months in the insurgent camp of Colonel Raol ARANGO, in the provinces of Havana and Matanzas, arrived on the steamer Olivette last night, and asserts that Maceo is dead. – From the Evening News newspaper of California, December 19, 1896.

SPENCER, Thos. K. (Mrs.) - of Tampa, widow of ex-sheriff SPENCER who was dangerously ill at the time of her husband’s death last week, died last Saturday morning.
