DEAN, John Henry - Mr. J.W. Crosby returned this morning from Baxley, Ga., where he accompanied his family with the remains of Mrs. CROSBY’s brother, Mr. John Henry DEAN, who died at Plant City a few days ago. Mrs. DEAN, the widow, also accompanied the party. Mrs. CROSBY and the children will remain in Georgia through the summer and Mr. CROSBY will return to the still at Loughman tonight. DURRANCE, S.C.(Mr.) - of Tampa, died in that city Tuesday of dropsy and heart trouble, which he had been afflicted with for several years. Mr. DURRANCE and family moved to Tampa from Ocala eight years ago. He leaves four daughters and one son, Mrs. George P. WILLIAMS of this city, Mrs. Betha HAYES of Jacksonville, Mrs. Arthur SMEDLEY, Mrs. G. PRIDE and Mrs. Flody SMITH, and Mr. Albert PROCTOR of Tampa his wife and a number of grandchildren also survive him. Mrs. WILLIAMS went to Tampa Tuesday to attend the funeral. The arrangements for the funeral were not known when she left. The friends and relatives of the family here sympathize with them in the loss of their relative.
