Fort Taylor Cemetery

This cemetery is located near the site of an historic Seminole war fort in rural SE Hernando County. A Cemetery Survey of the known cemeteries of Hernando County was conducted by members of the Genealogy Society of Hernando County for the Hernando Heritage Museum between 1995 and 1998 and is placed on this site with permission. The cemetery surveys have been supplemented with information obtained from published obituaries, Garnett Funeral Home Records and personal knowledge of family members county residents and other sources.
