In the Name of God Amen:
  

 I John C Richard being of sound mind and memory but realizing the uncertainty of this life, Do hereby make , ordain, declare and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former wills or codicils by me made.
  It is my desire and will that the expenses of my last sickness and burial be first paid and then all my other just debts and for the purpose of paying such debts, if any, it is my desire that my Executrix hereinafter named have power to sell and convey without any order from court such portion of my estate real or personal at public or private sale and upon such terms as she may see fit and proper.
   

After the payment of all my just debts I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary O. Richard all the real and personal property of every kind and species of which I may die seized and possessed.
I hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint my beloved wife Mary O. Richard as Executrix of this my last will and testament with full power and authority to act as such Executrix without being required to give bond.
   In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of March A.D. 1902.

The above and foregoing instrument was made signed and acknowledged by the testator John C Richard and so published & declared by him on the date mentioned therein as his last will and testament & as signed by him in the presence of each of us who at his request & in his presence & in the presence of each other here subscribed our names as witnesses thereto

                                Before me personally came J.W. Morgan who being by me first duly sworn says that on to wit: the 8th day of March A.D. 1902 he as a witness to the signature of Jno. C. Richard then living now deceased subscribed his name to the last will and testament of said Richard that said Jno. C. Richard departed this life on the 20th day of February 1905. That since said date the will aforesaid has been exhibited to him and that he verily believes the writing exhibited as the last will and testament to be the true last will and testament of the deceased affiant further says that he is in no manner or way interested in estate bequeathed by said last will and testament

appearing to the County Judge of said County by due proof that the said John C. Richard died on the 20th day of February, A.D. 1905
  

It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed that the said Last will and testament bearing date the 8th day of March A.D. 1902, and attested by Eva L. Willis, J.W. Morgan and R.C. Hiberger as subscribing witnesses thereto be and the same is hereby admitted to Probate according to Law as and for the true last will and testament of said John C. Richard deceased and that the same with the proof thereof be duly recorded in the Book of Wills.
