Will of G.B. Campbell, Bradford Co, FL 1895

I, G.B. Campbell of the County of Bradford and State of Florida being of sound mind and memory, in view of the uncertainty of life do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made.
Item 1st - I Will and ordain that my funeral and testamentary expenses shall first and promptly be paid and then my other just debts.


Item 2nd - I Will that my Executor hereinafter mentioned shall sell all my property both personal and real estate, either at public or private sale as he may deem best, and then divide the proceeds of said property, between my two heirs viz. Ollie M. Campbell, and William L. Campbell as follows. Ollie M. Campbell, when she becomes of legal age, is to have one third of the amount the property may bring, after her expenses shall be paid out of the amt devised untill she becomes of age, and William L. Campbell is to have two thirds of all my property when he shall become of legal age leaving it discretionary with my Executor to pay over part or all of the proceeds of of their shares as named either before or after they become of age.


Item 3rd - I give my Executor the power to take money arising from the proceeds of the sale of my property, to enclose my family burrying ground, with what is known as Iron Paling and suitable tombstones, and all expenses arising from the same ==  I hereby Constitute and Appoint Mr. Charles J Husband Executor of this my last Will and Testament, with full power to proceed in the premises, After the proof and Record of the same without being required to enter into bond, for the faithful execution of such trust it being the intent and purpose of the bequest herein made to give My Executor as complete and unrestricted dominion over the property and effects the subject of such bequest as I myself could exercise over it if living.

Signed sealed and published by the Testator, as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other, and so by us written and on the day and date thereof.

              Personally appeared Charles J Husband, who being duly sworn says that G.B. Campbell late of the County aforesaid, died on the 12th day of June AD 1895, having a last Will and Testament, in which the said Charles J Husband further swears, that he will well and truly perform the last Will and Testament of the Testator, pay all his just and lawful debts, so far as his goods chattels rights and credits will extend, and make a true and correct inventory of the same and render a true account of his Administration, when thereto required.

County of Bradford  }    Before me Wm F Malphurs County in and for said County, Personally appeared James M. Brownlee who being by me duly sworn, says that he was personally present as a subscribing and attesting witness with John A. Campbell and Jane J. Warren, who were also present as two subscribing and attesting witnesses, and saw the Testator G. B. Campbell subscribe his name to the instrument of writing hereto annexed for his last Will and Testament, and that the said G.B. Campbell sis then and there, in the presence of said John A. Campbell and Jane J. Warren publish and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament. That the said above named Witnesses did, then and there, at the special request of GB. Campbell, and in his presence and in the presence of each other, subscribing their names thereto as attesting witnesses. And the said James M. Brownlee further swears that he verrily believes the said instrument of writing hereto annnexed, so subscribed, published, declared and attested as aforesaid, to be the true Last Will and Testament of said Testator " the said G.B. Campbell.
