SENGLAUB - GARTMAN
Miss Lenora Gartman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Val. Gartman, of the town of
Wilson and Edwin Senglaub, son of Mrs. Herman Moening, also of the town of
Wilson were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Trinity
Lutheran church by the Rev. Ed. Meier. Miss Lydia Meier played the wedding
processional and Miss Gartman, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid and Miss
Anita Thielmann, cousin of the bride, maid of honor, and Messrs Herbert
Gartman, the bride's brother, and Carl Senglaub, brother of the groom,
attended the couple.
The bride wore a white charmeuse gown trimmed with beads and Chantilly lace
and a tulle veil arranged in St. Joseph's effect. She carried a shower
bouquet of Columbia roses and swansonia.
The maid of honor wore a white crepe de chine dress trimmed with satin and a
corsage bouquet of Columbia roses and violets. The bridesmaid wore a white
brocaded satin dress, bead trimmed and a corsage of roses and violets.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's
parents and a reception followed. Decorations were in purple and white.
After January 1, 1923, Mr. and Mrs. Senglaub will be at home to their many
friends in the town of Wilson.
