Koeppe-Voigt Nuptials Are Held Recently


Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Voigt have returned from a week's honeymoon trip to Chicago, South Lyons, Mich., and Canada. They now are residing at 1236 St. Clair avenue. The bride is the former Miss Caroline Koeppe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Koeppe, route 1, Oostburg, and she was wed to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Voigt, 214 S. Seventeenth street, Saturday, Dec. 2. The Rev. H.J.A. Bouman performed the 2:30 o'clock ceremony in Immanuel Lutheran church.

A sister of the bride, Mrs. Roger Mueller, was matron of honor and there were two bridesmaids, Mrs. Abe Roelse, the bridegroom's sister, and Miss Marjorie Roerdink. Best man was Arthur Butzen and groomsmen roles were taken by Abe Roelse, the bridegroom's brother-in-law, and Robert Butzen.

Supper was served to 30 guests at Kneevers Hotel and the reception for 350 relatives and friends took place at V.F.W. home. Persons from outside Sheboygan and Manitowoc counties were Miss Elizabeth Koeppe, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Friemund, Marilyn and Karen, Mickey Donovan, South Lyons, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Art Kabelowsky, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Al Martin, Fond du Lac.

The former Miss Koeppe is a graduate of Oostburg High school and is a secretary at Wilson Mutual Insurance Co. Mr. Voigt has his diploma from Central High school. He is a construction worker for Hasche Hardware and Appliances.
