Miss Adeline Schlichting, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schlichting, Sheboygan Falls, Route 2, and Adolph Fenner, son of
Mr. and Mrs. August Fenner, Sheboygan Falls, Route 1, exchanged vows before the Rev. Otto Gamb at the St. Lucas church
near Mohrville, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Music for the nuptials was furnished by Miss Elvira Boll who played the
wedding marches from Lohengrin and Mendelssohn.
A gown of white satin and a long veil of tulle trimmed with lace and caught with orange blossoms was worn by the bride
and she carried a mixed bouquet of white roses, sweetpeas, and pompoms. Miss Ruth Naumann attended as maid-of-honor and
she was attired in blue satin and her flowers consisted of a mixed bouquet tied with blue ribbon to match the shade of
her dress. Green crepe dresses were worn by the two bridesmaids, Mrs. Hubert Van Engen [groom's sister] and Miss Anna
Schlichting, and they held bouquets of mixed flowers with bows of ribbon to harmonize with the color of their gowns.
The little flower girl, Miss Lorraine Hein, wearing a dress of rose pink, carried a Colonial bouquet of flowers while
Master Donald Schlichting, dressed in blue and white, carried the rings on a white lily.
Attending the groom were Hubert Van Engen and Walter Schlichting.
Mr. Fenner and his bride are spending their honeymoon at the Century of Progress exposition. After they return they will
reside temporarily at the home of the groom's parents which is located a mile and one-half north of Sheboygan Falls.
