Bock - Fenner

At an early winter wedding which took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Bock, Route 3, Sheboygan Falls, on Thanksgiving afternoon at 5:30 o'clock, their daughter, Miss Erna, became the bride of Arno Fenner. The young couple exchanged their vows before the Rev. John Biehusen in the living room against a background of lighted candles with a tall standard of white pompons and orchid chrysanthemums on either side.

As Mrs. William Fenner Jr. played Lohengrin's Wedding March, the bridesmaids, Miss Anita Prinsen, intimate friend of the bride, descended the open stairway, wearing a lilac transparent velvet dress with a slight train, high neckline, and long sleeves. Miss Prinsen's attire was complemented with a silver metallic hat with wide net trimming and silver slippers. Orchid pompons designed her bouquet.

Also preceding the bride was little Miss Phyllis Sagunsky, a niece, who was dressed in a long delicately shaded orchid taffeta dress. She had a matching headband, white slippers, and her flowers were a Colonial bouquet of sweetpeas and roses.

The bride appeared in a soft-shaded orchid gown of transparent velvet fashioned with long sleeves and a train. The veil fell from a cap of shadow lace banded with a row of orange blossoms. Orchids and white roses made up the bridal bouquet.

Milfred Ebenreiter of this city, cousin of the bride, was the best man.

A reception followed after the ceremony and at 6:30 o'clock supper was served to 85 guests, the table decorations consisting of lighted tapers and bowls of pompons and chrysanthemums attractively arranged.

Mr. Fenner and his bride are enjoying a short wedding trip, and after December 15 they will be at home in their newly furnished home at 344 Prospect avenue, Sheboygan Falls.

The bride is a graduate of the Sheboygan Falls high school with the class of 1928 and was employed at the Sheboygan county register of deeds' office for the past six years.

Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Winter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winter and daughter, Grace, of Random Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Beno [Cora] Roepke [groom's sister], Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Fenner [groom's brother] and family of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Sixel of Haven and Eric Hoan of Oshkosh.
