The marriage of Miss Leona Richter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Richter, Krieg's Addition, to Ervin Neese, son of Fred
Neese, 1517 Mehrtens avenue, took place at 4 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Evangelical church. Rev. E. R. Krueger read the
service. Preceding this Mrs. Krueger sang, "Believe Me if all Those Endearing Young Charms" and before the vows were
exchanged she sang, "The Lord Is My Shepherd." Miss Irma Herges played the bridal music, including Lohengrin and
Mendelssohn's wedding marches.
The bride wore a salmon shade dress of satin. Her gift from the bridegroom was a rhinestone necklace. Sweetheart roses
and pomons comprised her bouquet. Lauretta Stauber and Sophia Curtiss attended the bride and wore gowns of lavender and
pink taffeta, respectively. They wore attractive headbands.
Fred Neese and Henry Sessler attended the groom. Bernice Zastrow and Shirley Curtiss were the flower girls. They wore
frocks of pink crepe and tulle bows.
A reception followed at the groom's home and a supper was served at 6 o'clock. Attractive decorations prevailed. Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Zastrow and children and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Curtiss and daughter were out-of-town guests. Dancing was
also enjoyed.
The newlyweds will make their home in this city.
