Deckert-Grunwald
Jeanne Ann Deckert of 1012 Geele Ave., Sheboygan and Larry Ewald Grunwald of
W3143 Playbird Road, Sheboygan Falls, were married September 6, 1997, at St.
Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Howards Grove. Officiating at the
ceremony was the Rev. Jonathan Rossman. Music was provided by organist
Marilyn Toepel and soloist Ann Doro.
Parents of the couple are the late Rudolph and Dorothea Deckert and Harold
and Vernetta Grunwald of 1014 Frost Road, Howards Grove.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Patricia Merklein of Sheboygan.
Other attendants were Lynn Christel, Las Vegas, Nev.; Judy Larsen, Sheboygan;
Caroline Korhonen, Plymouth; Kristin Deckert and Lindsay Deckert, both of
Sheboygan; and Jennifer Deckert and Mary Deckert, both of Elkhart Lake; and
Sandy Waldon of Sheboygan.
Best man was Mark Deckert of Sheboygan. Other attendants included Brian
Senglaub, Sheboygan Falls; George Young, Sheboygan; James Tenpas, Keith De
ckert and Jeremy Deckert, all of Elkhart Lake.
A reception for the couple was held at the home of the celebrants.
A wedding trip was taken to Puerto Vallarta.
The bride is a 1976 graduate of Sheboygan North High School and a 1979
graduate of Lakeshore Technical College. She is a licensed practical nurse
at Dr. Christopher Larson's office, Sheboygan.
The bridegroom is a 1980 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. He is a
self-employed general contractor.
The couple will live in Sheboygan Falls.
