Miss Wilma Katte Becomes Bride Of Kohler Resident
The marriage of Miss Wilma Katte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Katte,
2321 South Eighth street, and Joseph Badura of Kohler, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Bernard Badura of Freeport, Ill., took place Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock
at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. E. A. Katterhenry of Grace
Reformed church at Kohler read the ceremony and Miss Mary Etta Nott played
the wedding march.
The bride wore a yellow gown of printed chiffon with a hat and satin slippers
in yellow. She carried a bouquet of tea roses and swansonia.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Dreyer of Kohler were the attending couple. Mrs. Dreyer
had a printed chiffon dress and carried an arm bouquet of mixed flowers.
A reception and a 6 o'clock dinner for immediate relatives was held at the
home of the bride's parents, following the service. Out-of-town guests
included Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Badura and Miss Mildred Badura of Freeport,
Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Dreyer of Kohler.
After July 10, the newly-married couple will be at home in this city at 1019
Bluff avenue. Both the bride and bridegroom have many friends here and at
Kohler. Mrs. Badura was graduated from the Sheboygan high school and Mr.
Badura is a member of the Sheboygan Chairs and the Kohler Recreation
basketball team.
