Miss Myrtle Heim Is Married To Clemens J. Acker Saturday
Prior to a 9 o'clock nuptial mass, celebrated by the Rev. Edward Ziegler on
Saturday morning in Holy Name church, Miss Myrtle Heim and Clemens J. Acker
were wed. Parents of the two persons are Mr. and Mrs. George Heim, 534
Ontario avenue, and Mr. and Mrs. Clemens A. Acker, 501 New York avenue.
Mrs. Joseph Broeckert was chosen as the matron of honor, and there were three
bridesmaids, Miss Annette Acker, the bridegroom's sister of Milwaukee, Miss
Delores Ehrlich and Mrs. Gilbert Rammer. A cousin of the bride, Paula Ann
Grote and Jackie Heim, were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
The bridegroom chose Gerald Davy for his best man, and his groomsmen were
Donald Steindl, a cousin of the bride, and Gilbert Ewald, similarly related
to the bridegroom. Guests were shown to places by Raymond Heim, a brother of
the bride, and Dr. Joseph Coyne, Madison, the bridegroom's brother-in-law.
During the services, Mrs. N.E. Dohms sang "Ave Maria," and she was
accompanied by Cletus Zohlen.
Parents of the bride had guests for breakfast at their home. The dinner for
50 persons and supper for 40 more were served at the Liederkranz hall. That
evening 300 relatives and friends were at Bob Zore's Croatian hall for the
reception.

Mrs. Siegfred Mueller, Chilton; Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Casper, Kiel; Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Hartwig, Shawano; Mrs. Joe Coyne and family, Madison; Mr. and
Mrs. Eel Kaskabor and family, Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Sheety, Manitowoc; Mr.
and Mrs. John Lauke, Mr. and Mrs. Lester White, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Price,
Oshkosh, and Mr. and Mrs. Roman Koenig, Newton.
After Nov. 15 the newlyweds will reside at 512 Wisconsin avenue. Both young
persons are graduates of Central High school, the former Miss Heim in 1946,
and her husband, the year prior. The bride is employed by the Metropolitan
Life Insurance Co. and Mr. Acker works for the C. Reiss Coal Co.
