Gartman - Methfessel
Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday by Miss Sharon Lee Gartman and Jack
Kevin Methfessel at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Celebrant of their nuptial
Mass was the Rev. John L. Simon.
Mrs. Evelyn Hartenberger played the organ in the ceremony and Mrs. Sandy
Marotz was guitarist.
Parents of the bridal pair are Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Gartman, 2424 N. 24th
St. and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Methfessel, 1125 N. 11th St.
The newlyweds, who greeted guests at a reception at the Knights of Columbus
Center, will reside at 1007 N. 16th St., following a week-long honeymoon in
Missouri.
Miss Sandy Schmitt was chosen as maid of honor and Les Munnik was best man.
Peter Govek served as ring bearer and Dawn Methfessel of Sheboygan Falls was
the flower girl. Junior bridesmaid and groomsman were Sara Govek and Daryl
Durst.
Bridesmaids in the rite were Miss Brenda Free, Miss Lynn Bohlman, Miss Debbie
Sterk and Miss Denise Renzelman of Eau Claire. Groomsmen were Randy Schmidt
of Whitewater, Thomas Virant, Donald Pilon and Larry Munnik. James Gartman
and Brian Methfessel showed guests to their places in the church.
Both the bride and bridegroom were graduated from North High School in 1974.
She is a waitress at Mark's Fine Foods. Methfessel received his training at
the National School of Meat Cutting, Toledo, Ohio, and works at Luedke Bros.
