Miss Bock Married H. Jankow Saturday
The altars of Trinity Lutheran church, Town Wilson, were banked with garden
flowers Saturday at 2 p.m. for the marriage of Miss Virginia Bock, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bock, Sheboygan Falls, Route 3, and Harvey Jankow, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jankow, Sheboygan, route 3. The Rev. Julius Wagner
performed the ceremony.
White taffeta fashioned the bride's gown, princess style, designed with a
sweetheart neckline and long train. Her lace-trimmed veil was held in place
with a headdress of fresh pompons, and she carried a shower bouquet of
gladioli, white roses and daisies.
Mrs. Marvin Gosse, sister of the bridegroom, attended the bride as matron of
honor in a gown of wine color velvaray taffeta. She wore red gladioli and
pompons in her hair and carried a bouquet of wine color gladioli and
chrysanthemums. Blue velvaray taffeta was worn by the bridesmaids, Miss
Lillian Bock, sister of the bride. In her hair she wore gladioli and lilies
and her bouquet was fashioned of the same flowers.
The flower girl was Marion Miller, niece of the bridegroom, who was dressed
in pink taffeta and carried a basket of mixed flowers. Norbert Herbst, clad
in a white linen suit, attended as ring bearer. He carried the rings in a
lily.
Marvin Gosse attended the bridegroom as best man and Marvin Fritsch was the
groomsman. Ushers were George Grieg and Marlin Miller.
Music for the service was played by Miss Lois Wagner.
A supper was served at the home of the bride's parents to 60 guests after the
service. The couple has left on a trip West and after Sept. 14 will reside
in a newly-furnished home at Sheboygan, route 3.
