Ethel Klokow, E. Moenning Repeat Vows
On Saturday, Edward Moenning claimed Miss Ethel E. Klokow as his bride during
a three o'clock, double-ring ceremony, performed in St. John's Evangelical
and Reformed church, Town Herman. The Rev. William Schulz officiated at the
service that united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Klokow, route 1,
Cleveland, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moenning, Sheboygan Falls.
Mrs. Al Reinke, the bride's sister, was the matron of honor and Miss Marion
Miller, a cousin of the bridegroom, acted as bridesmaid. Kenneth Moenning,
the bridegroom's brother, was best man and Frederick Klokow, similarly
related to the bride, served as the other attendants. Usher roles were taken
by Al Reinke, the bride's brother-in-law, and Raymond Jankow, an uncle of the
bridegroom.
"Because" and "The Lord's Prayer" were sung by Milfred Rotstead and he was
accompanied by Miss Gladys Allbrecht, organist.
Immediate families and the bridal party were entertained at dinner at
Kneevers Hotel, Sheboygan, and later 300 relatives and friends gathered at
Kuylen's hall for the reception.
When the newlyweds return from a honeymoon trip, after Sept. 9, they will be
residing at 1924A N. Seventh street, Sheboygan. The former Miss Klokow is a
1949 graduate of Central High school and is employed in the office of the
Vollrath Co. Her husband, who has a diploma from Sheboygan Falls High
school, works for Mark Eggebeen & Sons.
