Pretty Wedding Solemnized In Town Of Wilson
A pretty wedding was solemnized in the town of Wilson, when Miss Viola
Herbst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herbst, Sr., was united in marriage
with Adolph Gartmann, son of Mrs. Fred Gartmann. The ceremony was performed
at 4 p.m. Saturday at the parsonage of the Trinity Lutheran church by Rev.
Edmund Meier, of Wilson.
The bride wore a dress of rose colored georgette crepe trimmed with lace and
carried a corsage of sweet peas and roses.
The couple were unattended.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where a six o'clock
wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives of the couple.
Decorations throughout the home were attractively carried out in pink. The
table was beautifully decorated with pink and white carnations and tulips and
a large wedding cake formed the centerpiece.
Mr. and Mrs. Gartmann have a host of friends who extend felicitations.
