Miss Margaret Gannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gannon, of Greenbush,
and John Reilly, of Mitchell, were united in marriage at the St. Fridolin
Catholic church, in Glenbeulah, at 10 o'clock, yesterday morning. The Rev.
Father Kroha pronounced the ceremony.
The couple was ushered to the altar by John Gannon, a brother to the bride,
and Tom Cain, followed by the bridesmaid, Mary Cain. When the first strains
of the wedding march, which was played by Miss Kathryn Glynn, were heard,
the bride, who was given away by her brother James Gannon, was met by the
groom and groomsman, Gerald Martin.
The bride was charmingly gowned in white satin with pointe lace, and wore a
veil of tulle, while the bridesmaid was gowned in rose mull over cream
satin. She carried pink carnations to match.
Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the
bride's parents, for only the immediate relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Reilly left
on the 5:20 train from Plymouth for Milwaukee and other cities and on their
return will live on the groom's farm in Mitchell.
The bride is a popular young lady and is a graduate of the Plymouth high
school, while the groom is a highly respected young farmer. Both young
people have a host of friends who join the Press in extending to them best
wishes.
Those from away were James Gannon, of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. P.H.
