Miss Beatrice Butler, Town of Mitchell, was the bride, and Gilbert
Ninnemann, Cascade, the bridegroom, on Saturday when they were wed in the
rectory of St. Mary's Catholic church in Cascade. The Rev. Clarence
Schouten performed the ceremony at 10 a.m.
The bride chose her twins sister, Miss Bernice Butler, as maid of honor, and
Richard Butler, a brother of the bride, was the best man.
Parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Butler, served a wedding dinner to
the bridal party, the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ninnemann,
Cascade, and Father Schouten at their farm home in Town Mitchell. The
wedding reception was held at Crystal Lake Inn, Crystal Lake, and 400
relatives and friends were present.
After a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, the newlyweds will reside in
Cascade. Prior to her marriage, the former Miss Butler was employed as a
switchboard operator and receptionist at the county court house in this
city. She is a graduate of Plymouth High school. Her husband received his
diploma from Waldo High school, and then served for four years in the ETO.
Mr. Ninnemann now operates a service station in Cascade.
