Miss Opgenorth Becomes Bride Of Gerhardt Schieble
The marriage of Miss Verena Opgenorth, daughter of Mrs. Caroline Opgenorth,
Sheboygan, Route 4, to Gerhardt Schieble, 1712 North Eleventh street, was
solemnized Saturday morning at Holy Name church. Rev. Phillipp Dreis
performed the ceremony and Professor August Zohlen played the bridal music.
The bride wore a gown of white crepe chiffon trimmed with silver lace. Her
flowers were white roses and feverfew.
Miss Ardela Opgenorth, sister of the bride, was the maid of homor and Miss
Loretta Schieble, sister of the bridegroom, was a bridesmaid. The maid of
honor wore a yellow dress and the bridesmaid was attired in a dress of pale
peach shade chiffon. The attendants' flowers were gladioli in shades of
peach and yellow.
Joseph Schieble, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Decorations
were in yellow, peach and white.
After July 1 the couple will live at 2428 North Seventh street.
