Harold and Veona Gartman
Harold A. and Veona Paasch Gartman of 7825 Middle Road, Sheboygan, celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary with church service at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Town of Wilson, followed by dinner and open house at Rupp's at
Riverdale.
The couple were married Oct. 4, 1941 at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town
of Wilson. Officiant was the Rev. Julius Wagner.
Attendants who were present at the anniversary were Lorraine Grunwald, Norman
Gartman, Roxanne Ertel, all of Sheboygan and David Paasch of Amberg, Wis.
Gartman is retired from the farming business and his wife is a homemaker.
The couple have three children: Mark of Sheboygan; Ruth Schultz of Danville,
Ill. and Phyllis Summers of Oostburg. The couple have 10 grandchildren.
The former Veona Paasch was born Dec. 24, 1921 in Sheboygan. Her husband was
born Oct. 9, 1916 in the Township of Wilson.
The couple are members of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Wilson.
Gartman served on the Board of Directors of Sheboygan Falls Co-op for 24
years; on the Board of Directors of the former Lakeside Co-op for 25 years;
past member of the former Harmony School Board and has served on church
council at Trinity Lutheran.
His wife is presently a member of the Ladies Aid at Trinity Lutheran.
