 .WARNER - REGAL.

Submitted by Paul A. Beauregard

. WARNER & REGAL

I have extensive records on all of these families epecially the Warners of NYS, Osnabruck, Ontario and Oconto County.  Some of these records go back to Germany and the French and Indian War.  The true Warner surname was Werner, one of our United Empire Loyalists of Ontario (U.E.L.).  The Werners were German Lutheran descendants, not the popular English notion in Wisc.  Records end on one line at Stone Arabia, NY, in 1761 for the grandmother that spoke broken German but she was not from Massena or Ogdensburg, NY.

The Schwartz, Hammler and Gumpert families were desendant researched by a lady named Artis.  Stories from a distant cousin of the existence of a REGAL Castle and a lady in waiting to the king are totally false, to say the least.  The True History of the Gottlieb Regal Family is based upon actual church, legal, marriage, birth, census (agriculture and population) and other records of the Warners back to beyond the French and Indian War.  Gottlieb's records are at the Oconto Falls court house.

I am looking for the link of Friedrick Wilhelm Regal or Johannes Regal to the brothers Gottlieb Regal or Gottfried (not found in any civil war record) Regal.  I am also looking to get confirmed the burial of Alva/Alba/Alfred Peter Warner and his second wife Martha, not Amanda at the Town of Chase Cemetery.
