Oconto County Reporter February 4, 1943 researched by Richard La Brosse Miss Marion Scanlan, Milwaukee, daughter of the P.F. Scanlans, Oconto, became the bride of Wesley Bowers, Monday, before the Rev. Joseph Tomczyk at Stiles. At a quiet wedding ceremony last Saturday at St. Josephs church parsonage, Miss Jeannette Dionne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dionne of Oconto, and Calvin Bitters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bitters of Lena. The marriage of Doris Marie O’Neil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence O’Neil of Oconto, to Paul Bennett, Chicago, has been announced.  The ceremony took place recently in Chicago.
