Nov. 3, 1934 Richard La Brosse A very pretty wedding ceremony was solemnized Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's parsonage when Miss Ethel Lucille Drolette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Drolette of Pensaukee, and Robert Douglas Allen, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, Little Suamico, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The Rev. Fr. J. J. Looze officiated. Miss Marjerie Drolette, sister of the bride, and Gene Berg of Abrams were the attendants to the bride and groom. The bride was attired in a beautiful pink flat crepe gown with accessories to match and wore a corsage of talisman roses. The bridesmaid wore a lovely gown of yellow satin. The groom and best man wore conventional dress. A six o'clock wedding
dinner given by the bride's parents was given to some fifty guests including
relatives and friends. Decorations of pink and yellow accorded with the
color scheme of the gowns of the bridal party. A wedding dance was given
at Pensaukee in the evening in honor of the newly weds with music by Jack
Meyer and his orchestra. Many lovely gifts were presented on this occasion.
A pre-nuptial shower was given last week at the home of the
groom's parents. The bride was the recipient of many gifts.
