January 13, 1927 researched and contributed by Richard La Brosse A few hours before the year of 1926 completed its cycle,
the marriage of Miss Eva Morin and Albert C. Hawkins of Marinette, took
place in the manse of the Pioneer Presbyterian church, Marinette, the Rev.
L.C. Smith officiating at five on December 31. Miss Morin formerly
lived in Oconto.

March 10, 1927 Three men in a high powered car made a big cash haul of nine cents Tuesday night when they forced the door of the Stiles Junction depot. The C.A. Straubel cheese company of Gillett announces the following winners in the quality cheese contest for the month of February: Lawrence Huss, Richard Genskow, Henry Sylvester. Couillardville - Ruth Leigh entertained a number of
her little friends Saturday afternoon in honor of her tenth birthday anniversary.

Van Boven of Stiles, was married to Herman J. Oesterreich of Washington
Heights, near Chicago, Ill., on Thursday June 2 at the home of the groom.

August 4, 1927 Suring—Miss Helga Thomsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James Thomsen of Suring, and Walter McGuire of Soperton were married in
Milwaukee Monday afternoon August 1.

August 11, 1927 researched and contributed by Richard La Brosse A pretty wedding was solemnized
at St. Peters catholic church this morning when Miss Agnes Belongia, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. George Belongia, became the bride of Nicholas Nerenhausen,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nerenhausen. Ida Belongia and George Nerenhausen
were the attendants.

September 29, 1927 A very pretty wedding was solemnized in the Methodist Episcopal church parlors in the city Tuesday afternoon at two when Miss Viola Ristow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ristow of Pensaukee became the bride of Joseph Detaeje, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Detaeje of Couillardville. Rev. C.E. Lease performed the ceremony. Suring—Miss Erna Zaddock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Max Zaddock of the town of How, became the bride of Edward Bubolz, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bubolz of Underhill at a pretty wedding ceremony
in St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran church at Hayes.

October 27, 1927 Lena—Miss Barbara Boes, daughter of Mrs. Hugo Boes
of Sturgeon Bay, became the bride of John Magnin, Lena, at a pretty ceremony
in Sturgeon Bay Monday October 17.
