Carl Wilke of Oconto Falls, to Esther Hodgins of Oconto Falls;
William Marith of the town of Brazeau to Margaret Fisher of Coleman.
Suring—Miss Gertrude McMonagle and Mr. Guy Anderson, both of this
vicinity, were quietly married at the home of the bride’s parents at Kelly
Lake Monday afternoon.
A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Iron Mountain, Mich., Wednesday morning, Jan. 27, at nine when Miss John Lake of Iron Mountain became the bride of Thomas Wright, son of Mrs. Herman Schroeder of Suring. (Miss John Lake is what is on the original notice, makes one wonder though)
Suring—Miss Catherine Stengel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stengel
of How and J.E. Hoffman of Crandon were married February 2 at St. Paul,
Minn. They will make their home at Crandon.

The engagement of Miss Eleanor Holt, youngest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. W.A. Holt, to Donald S. De Witt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L.
DeWitt, was formally announced Wednesday noon at a luncheon attended by
relatives and close friends.

Charles Javanowski and Pauline Wisnski, both of Sobieski;
Oliver Shallow and Gladys Brabant, both of the town of Little River.
Melvin O’Neil, son of Mr. and Mrs. John O’Neil and Miss Violet Plump of the town of Little River, were quietly married at Menominee on March 1.
A marriage license was issued by county clerk Orr this week to :
Andy P. Caldie of Oconto Falls and Estelle McKeever of Lena .
Justice Joseph E. Fisher performed a double wedding ceremony Monday
morning at his office when he united in marriage Miss Eureka Sellin and
Conrad Imig of the town of Little River
and Miss Mary Imig of the town of Little River and Emil Schneider
of Kenosha.
McAllister-Reindl
The marriage of Miss Bernice McAllister
and Peter REindl, both of Stiles, was solemnized Saturday morning at eight
o'clock at St. Patrick's church, Stiles. Rev. Schoettl tied the nuptial
knot. The bride was attired in Robin's egg blue flat crepe, with large
picture hat to match, and carried an arm bouquet of bridal roses.
She was attended by her cousin, Miss Myrtle Carey, who was attired in camel
tan georgette with a hat to match. Miss Carey carried a shower bouquet
of roses and snapdragons. The groom was attended by Francis McAllister,
brother of the bride.
The house was prettily decorated for the
occasion with a profusion of the season's flowers and leaves. A wedding
breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents after
the ceremony. At six o'clock a wedding diner was served to
relatives. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful gifts.
People from out of town who attended
the wedding were: Mrs. Kate Loftus and son, Austin, of Chicago; Eldred
Klauser of Oconto and Mrs. Anna Reindl and son, Joseph, of
Mr. and Mrs. James A. DonLevy of this city announce the marriage
of their daughter, Clara Frances to Orrin Smith of Milwaukee. The
wedding took place at Milwaukee on Saturday, November 6.
Miss Edna Werth entertained a number of ladies, Monday evening, at
a shower, complimentary to Miss Irene Pahi, who is to be married next week.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Young town of Oconto, announce the marriage of
their son, Theodore, to Miss Doris Ragner of Kenosha. The marriage
took place at St. Thomas Church, Kenosha on Monday morning December 6.
