Oconto County Reporter 20 September 1900  contributed by Ron Renquin ABRAMS  J. H. Peters, Sr., and Mrs. J. Greenman were married by the Rev. Sanford at his residence, formerly the home of Mrs. Greenman, on Thursday, Sept.13.  They were given a grand serenade on the following evening which was  participated in by the old and young boys around town.  The are keeping house in the groom's home.
