They ought and will be happy we are confidant and leave our best wished for their prosperity in all things. We
are informed that our genial station agent C. M. Schooley and Miss Jennie

single blessedness was then unendurable. They then and there resolved that
henceforth and forever after they would go double, and with this end in
view they visited Squire Glynn, who, being appraised of their wants, immediately

Dec. 5, 1885 Married Mr. Geo. S. Walker and Miss Nellie F. Ward of Pound came to this place on Saturday last to be joined in the bands of matrimony, but owing to the absence of our local magistrate on professional business the ceremony was deferred until Sunday eve. The 29th ult. The affair was strictly private, and although we were not fortunate enough to be present we can not resist the temptation of doing an act of kindness when it is required of us, so before the happy event fades from our memory we bid them farewell on their journey in life and many happy returns Married at Stiles at the residence of Mrs. M. Hodgins, by H.F. Ohswadt, Justice of the peace, George S. Walker of Pound to Miss Nellie F. Ward of Peshtigo, on Sunday, Nov. 29th, 1885.. On last Monday evening at the residence of Mrs. E. S. Whitney, Green Bay, the ceremony uniting the Hon. Ernst Funke of this city, and Mrs. Rose Whitney of Green Bay in matrimony was solemnized, the Rev. H. C. Costelle officiating. Mr. Funke is one of our most respected citizens, long a resident here has held many offices of trust with credit and is at present Postmaster. His many friends will universally congratulate him upon this happy event uniting him with a lady represented as of many graces of character and a friend of his early years. We heartily wish them many happy years in their new relation. Married at the home of the bride at Brookside on Wednesday the 2nd
of Dec., Mr. Henry Baker of this city to Miss Annie Bailling of Brookside.
The bride and groom are both well known here and we join their friends
in wishing them a smooth passage o’er life’s troubled sea.
