March 1, 1879 MARRIED KEITHFENNO At Appleton Tuesday morning Feb. 24th 1879, the Rev. Dr. Steele officiating, MR. CHARLES KEITH of this city, and MISS KITTIE L. FENNO of Appleton. The above notice tells a plain unvarnished tale. Among those who were
informed of the approach of the happy event, it had been the subject of
conversation, and speculation as such events usually are, and Mrs. Grundy's
tongue had wagged the appropriate number of times. Mr. Keith is one of
our best young men, and every one of his many friends will wish him much
joy in his new found relation, of "head of a family." In the person of
his bride, he brings home with him one of Appleton's fair daughters, one
who is quite well known here among society-going people, she having visited
here with friends at different times. The Reporter congratulates the young
couple on the consummation of the happy event which makes them one flesh
and we send the best old shoe we have got after them.
