IN OLD
OCONTO COUNTY 1956
Oconto Falls - Mrs. Orin M. Saunders, 85, died at her home here Monday night.
The former Avie Keyes, she was born at Strongs Prairie, Wis. September 11, 1870 and was a resident of Oconto Falls for the past 60 years. She was married to Orin Saunders at New Rome, Wis. July 4, 1889.
Mrs. Saunders was a charter member of the Oconto Falls Women's Club, the Women's Benefit Assn., the Methodist Church and Women's Society of Christian Service of the church, and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Veo Graney and Mrs. Ila Foster, both of Oconto Falls; three sons, Orrie and Rollyn, both of Oconto Falls and Dr. Otis, Green Bay; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Robinson, Holum, La.; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Soulek Funeral Home here where friends may call from 6 pm this evening. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial rites at the funeral home at 8 pm Wednesday.
The Rev. Huntley C. Lewis will conduct the last rites at the Methodist Church here at 2 pm Thursday. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Pallbearers will be A.B. Metzler, C.W. Carlson, E.K. Wolfram, E.E. Magnin, Gregory Flatley and M. A. Becker.

Mrs. Grace E. Hanson, 78, resident of the town of Bagley, died in the Oconto Falls Friday.
Mrs. Clarence Kinziger, 58, died at her home at 107 Center St. Friday evening, having been in ill health the past 17 years.
Suring Department
Mrs. Henry Hanson, 76, R2 Suring, died in the Oconto Falls hospital Thursday at 3:30 jpm. She had been ill for four years and hospitalized for the past two weeks.
