Atty. Paul Megan, 54, a forner Oconto resident, died Tuesday at a Wausau hospital following a heart attack.

Word was received Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Checki of R1-Lena, that their son, PFC Stanley Checki with the U S Marines in Korea, was killed in a vehicle accident.

Rev. William Domrec died Sunday, December 9 at Guttenburg, Iowa.  The family were former Gillett residents.

Mrs. Blanch J. Jarvey recently was awarded a silver star medal awarded posthumously to her husband Roland J. Jarvey, Killed in Korea.

John P. Anderson, former agriculture teacher here for many years, was killed in an automobile accident in lower Michigan.

Roy Sladky, formerly of Oconto Falls, died in a Green Bay hospital Monday morning.
