Gus Seefeldt of R4-Lena, was drwoned Sunday while swimming in the Little
River in the town of Little River.

July 20, 1950 Solomon Aronson, 61, well known Oconto businessman,
died in the Oconto hospital Friday. Death followed a week's illness. He
operated the City Market for 20 years.

July 27, 1950 A young girl very close to the hearts of all Oconto, died Monday, a victim of incurable cancerous tumores on five places on her body. She was Sandra Lynn Medd, daughter of Mr and Mrs. George Medd.

Young, lost their li\ves when a fire destroyed their home early Friday
morning.

September 7, 1950 John B Chase, widely known Oconto attorney for nearly half a century, died at his home Thursday night as the result of a heart attack. Corp. Gordon John Vanden Bush, Oconto Falls, was killed in action in Korea August 12, his family was informed Wednesday. He was the son of William Vanden Bush. S/Sgt. Vincent Labassi of Suring, first Korean
casualty of Oconto County, was buried Thursday. A beautiful tribute was
given by Father M G Alt.

September 21, 1950 Sgt David D Pecor, 21, formerlu of oconto, and a son of Mr and Mrs Lloyd Pecore of Garden Grove, CA. was killed in action in Korea relatives here learned Monday.

Bank, passed away suddenly from a heart attack at his home on October 24.

November 2, 1950 Oconto County highways claimed their 9th victim if
the year laast Wednesday night when Gust Salesky, 42, Pound, was crushed
in the cab of his loaded potato truck when he missed the turn at the intersection
of 64 and 32, three miles north of Mountain.

November 30, 1950 David Bostedt, 57, died suddenly at his home at 223 Second Street Wednesday night when he was struck with a heart attack. Dr. M Z Vermeiren, 79, died at her home neat Pensukee
Saturday morning after an illness of more that four years. She was a practicing
physician in Green Bay for about 50 years.

December 14, 1950 Mrs. Andrew Detaege, 75, Brazeau ave, died Saturday
afternoon in the Oconto Hospital following injuries she received in a farm
accident three weeks ago.
